Kate Douglas

The official bio
Kate Douglas has been a writer for well over four decades. She’s produced ad copy for radio, covered everything from drug busts to high school sports as a small-town newspaper reporter, co-authored a cookbook, written numerous freelance articles and short “how to” fiction, and published a lot of books as both an early epublished author (first contracted in 1999—the “what’s an ebook?” era) and with traditional publishers.
Her boundary-breaking erotic romance series Wolf Tales launched Kensington’s Aphrodisia imprint in 2006 where she also wrote the erotic science fiction series, Dream Catchers, and the DemonSlayers paranormal series under the Zebra imprint. Her final series with Kensington was Spirit Wild, set in the Chanku world of Wolf Tales. She is now publishing Spirit Wild independently with Beyond the Page Publishing. The fifth book in the series, Dark Terror, releases April 5, 2017.
Kate has a romantic suspense series with St. Martin’s Press—Intimate Relations, set in the northern California wine country where she lives, as well as a paranormal werewolf trilogy for SMP, Feral Passions set in the Trinity Alps of northern California.

I love Yasmine’s idea of an unofficial bio...

Unofficially, I’m often the old broad among my fellow authors, and now that I’ve quit coloring my hair, I’m looking the part more than ever. I love to write, and that includes all sorts of sub-genres within the romance world. I’ve published erotic science fiction and paranormal romances, romantic suspense, contemporary comedy romance, and even a couple of short historical romances. Many of my stories include same sex or polyamorous relationships, but I can guarantee that they will always have a happy ending. I tell readers that I might put my lovers through hell, but they’ll always find love at the end.
